We all know chocolate is a big NO NO for puppies. That's it! But why not have a chocolate chip cookie anyway? We have created a 100% natural treat, Čoko Kuki , which is made from carob and banana. Yummy! Tasty and healthy!
What are the chosen ingredients and why?
Bananas are a low-calorie treat, as they contain a lot of potassium, vitamins, biotin, fiber and copper. They are full of dietary fiber.
Carobs belong to legumes and are considered natural chocolate or cocoa¨. They have an excellent effect on the intestines and digestive system. They are full of raw protein, amino acids, calcium, zinc and manganese. They are a true wealth of vitamins of groups E, B, and D. Rosemary flour is considered a low-calorie raw material, as it contains very little fat.
Honey is a natural mixture of sugars, proteins, amino acids, aromatic substances, minerals and vitamins. Because of the sugars, it belongs to high-calorie foods, so it should be used in small quantities.
Eggs are a rich source of food, as they contain essential amino acids, phosphorus, zinc, potassium, iron and many vitamins. They are full of protein.
Rapeseed oil or rapeseed oil contains about 20% protein and important vitamins and minerals. It is resistant to heat, so it is most suitable for heat treatment.
Coconut or coconut is a true wealth of nutrients, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Coconut flour is low in carbohydrates, high in fiber and gluten free. It is a good source of protein.
Millet whole grain flour is easy to digest, contains a lot of vitamins B and E, magnesium, zinc, copper and antioxidants. Spelled protein is different from wheat, so it is much more digestible.
